Relief Efforts in Fiji
CARE works with local partner Live & Learn to respond to humanitarian needs caused by natural disasters, such as tropical cyclone Winston in February 2016. CARE is supporting in the emergency response to ensure clean water supplies are quickly reestablished and communities know how to keep themselves safe and healthy in the aftermath of the extremely powerful cyclone.
Live & Learn has been working in Fiji since 1999 and CARE has deployed emergency response experts to support them in the scaling up of the emergency response.
