Kamille Gardner serves as the Program Manager for CARE’s Learning Tours team, managing trip-related and advocacy communications and trip logistics and execution. Kamille has worked with CARE in various capacities within its Policy and Advocacy Unit since 2012, previously serving as the Learning Tours Program Officer and Program Coordinator.
Prior to her time at CARE, Kamille was living in Panama and working with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) / World Health Organization (WHO), where she conducted a systematic review on gender mainstreaming in the health sector in the Latin America and Caribbean region. Kamille also worked previously as a project assistant at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) focusing on health, democracy and governance in the Southern and East Africa region.
Kamille holds a M.A. in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies and B.A in International Development and Latin American studies from American University. She also holds a graduate certificate in global health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
