CARE’s Shakir el-Hassan spoke with AFP about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Sudan. Hassan, who was displaced twice since April 2023, also shared his own personal story.
“There is a huge gap in medicines, food,” he said, speaking to AFP from the east of the country after what he described as 10 days without internet.
