Bushra Aldukhainah, a humanitarian coordinator for CARE Yemen, shares her personal tale about the war’s toll on Yemenis. Like Aldukhainah, millions have fled their homes with little hope of returning. One city has been totally destroyed. “Not even dogs and cats live there anymore.” Unemployment rates are extremely high, and everyday products are overpriced resulting in food insecurity and malnourished children.
