Vocal powerhouse Cynthia Erivo, who is just an Oscar away from an EGOT, and cellist Yo-Yo Ma, a 2011 Kennedy Center Honoree, are slated to perform at the 2021 CARE Impact Awards on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
Presented by the humanitarian organization CARE, the CARE Impact Awards aim to celebrate “the tenacious spirit of forward-thinking humanitarian leaders in delivering innovative change around the world,” the organization shared in a statement.
Hosted by CNN analyst and SiriusXM host Laura Coates, the awards ceremony is set to honor Hillary Rodham Clinton, former U.S. Secretary of State; Carol B. Tomé, chief executive officer at UPS; Eugene Willemsen, CEO of PepsiCo, Africa, Middle East, South Asia; S. Mona Sinha, board chair of Women Moving Millions and ERA Fund for Women’s Equality; Darren Walker, Ford Foundation president; and Teri Williams, OneUnited Bank president and COO.
