In celebration of International Women’s Day, CARE launched Walk In Her Shoes, a weeklong solidarity and fundraising campaign in support of women and girls struggling to lift themselves out of poverty around the world. Campaign participants will walk 10,000 steps each day for a week in solidarity with women and girls who walk that and more to get clean water or food for their families. CARE staff at its downtown Atlanta headquarters walked two miles on International Women’s Day to kick off the campaign.
