Expanding Access to Cash Assistance for Refugees and Migrant Families in Ecuador
For Venezuelans and Colombians seeking refuge from economic collapse and ongoing armed conflict, finding a new home in Ecuador is perilous. CARE and Umoja Labs are partnering to deliver digital cash and voucher assistance in two provinces of Ecuador. With your support, we’ll scale our existing program and expand access to health services and nutrition for 10,000 refugees and migrants, most of them women and children.
- Location: Guayas and Imbabura provinces, Ecuador
- Target Population: 10,000 Venezuelan and Colombian refugees and migrants, and 100 merchants
- Intervention: $1.2 million in aid, directly in the hands of the people who need it most
