Victor Albisu owns Del Campo, an upscale South American grill in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, DC. Del Campo was named a Best New Restaurant of 2013 by Esquire magazine.

His other restaurant, Taco Bamba in Falls Church, VA, is a takeout taqueria that reflects his Cuban and Peruvian roots. The restaurant has received a great deal of local recognition and made the Washingtonian’s 2015 Best Cheap Restaurants List.

This experience in totality has been incredible for us. To see the food, where it comes from, where it grows and how it makes a trajectory to your plate has been intense.
