Chef Spike Mendelsohn

Spike Mendelsohn is a “Top Chef” alum and owner of Good Stuff Eatery, We, the Pizza and Béarnaise in Washington, DC.

Spike began his education at the Culinary Institute of America and went on to work for Chef Gerard Boyer at his famous Restaurant Les Crayeres in France. Other television appearances include the “Top Chef All-Stars” season and “Life After Top Chef.” He was also enlisted as part of Food Network’s “Next Iron Chef: All-Stars” and the “Next Iron Chef: Redemption” season.

His first cookbook, The Good Stuff Cookbook was released in 2010 and features American comfort food classics. In 2015, Spike opened his first restaurant in Miami, FL, called Sunny’s, a beachside-inspired café at The Hall boutique hotel and has expanded his Good Stuff Eatery restaurant domestically to Philadelphia and Chicago and internationally to Saudi Arabia.
