Jay Hallik is a Managing Director and the Global Co-Head of the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley. Jay sits on the Firm Management Committee.
Jay joined Morgan Stanley in 2000 as an Associate in Securitized Products in the Fixed Income Division. In 2007, he was promoted to Managing Director, and in 2013 became the Global Head of Securitized Products. In 2016, Jay was promoted to running all Spread Products (Credit Corporates, Municipals, and Securitized Products). In 2020, Jay’s responsibilities expanded to include co-running Commodities, and in 2022, was named Global Co-Head of Fixed Income.
Prior to joining the Firm, Jay worked as a management consultant. He holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree from McGill University and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University.
