CARE’s work with foundation partners is driven by evidence and reaches more than 100 million people each year. Explore some of these major initiatives below to see the results we’ve achieved together.

Maternal and children's health

CARE worked with the Government of Bihar State in India to strengthen the health system and accelerate progress toward maternal and child health goals – and made incredible strides.

The Educate Your Children II project supported the Government of Somalia’s efforts to increase access to primary education by enrolling 80,600 children who previously lacked access to education, with a special focus on girls and those affected by displacement and conflict.

Food, nutrition, and water

CARE’s Pathways program aimed to increase the productivity and empowerment of women farmers in more equal agriculture systems at scale. And it did, showing a $31 return on investment for every $1 invested in women.
