“Women smallholder farmers are categorically limited in terms of their access to markets, seeds, crops, and training. Studies have said if women smallholder farmers around the world had equal access, we could feed 150 million more people in the world. That’s just one of the strategies that would make a difference,” said Michelle Nunn, President and CEO of CARE USA.
