On April 19, CARE announced that effective July 1, Michelle Nunn, a former U.S. senate candidate, would become the new president and chief executive of CARE. The Atlanta-Journal Constitution broke the news on their Politics Blog, The Chronicle of Philanthropy also covered the story.
