The Guardian quoted Sven Harmeling, climate change lead for CARE International, about how the most vulnerable people are being affected by climate change. In reference to CARE’s 2018 report “Suffering in Silence” he said media coverage has not given the appropriate attention to the dire issue. “They have been deliberately made invisible because the lives of those with black and brown skins simply don’t matter.” Read the story here.
