Devex published an op-ed “7 Ways to Manage and Strengthen Data-Driven Decision Making” co-authored by Macon Phillips, CARE’s chief digital officer. Phillips wrote about the lessons learned from a partnership in Bihar, India with CARE India, IBM Health Corps. and the Bihar government using a rapid prototyping approach aimed at advancing Bihar’s medical data system to create easier access to medicines in public health facilities. “As complicated as the technology issues may be at times, the impact of this work is simply to help the people of Bihar — particularly its mothers and children — live healthier, more productive lives.” Read more here.
