Sarah worked with CARE International and CARE UK prior to joining CARE. She most recently served as Global Public Engagement & Fundraising Director at CARE International. In that role, she led CARE’s global efforts to generate a step-change in our income and influence around the world. She supported the CARE confederation to grow its annual revenue and effectively influence the policies and practice that affect the lives of women, girls and the most vulnerable communities.
Prior to that, Sarah spent five years successfully leading CARE International UK Fundraising, Communications and Partnerships functions. During her time at CIUK, revenue doubled and CARE UK’s brand profile and influence grew significantly with key initiatives such as the Women’s March (now #March4Women); Lendwithcare and the private sector engagement approach to development.
