LA Times: Aid groups see Trump’s travel restrictions as 'a huge step backwards'

Several humanitarian aid organizations, including CARE, have made travel contingencies for its staff in response to President Trump’s recent travel restrictions. CARE, which operates in five of the seven countries whose citizens are prohibited from coming to the United States, has banned its U.S.-based staff – including those who are U.S. citizens – from traveling to the seven countries.   CARE staffers can “potentially face trouble coming into the U.S.” explained Nick Osborne, CARE’s vice president of international programs.  Read the story here
