Meet Ellen Carmichael
Ellen Carmichael is Deputy Director of Citizen Advocacy for CARE. Ellen leads the CARE Action Network Team’s strategy to engage supporters across the U.S. to lend their voice to the movement to end global poverty and injustice. Prior to joining CARE in 2008, Ellen worked for the Ohio Sierra Club and was an organizer for Green Corps, the field school for environmental organizing.

Meet Katie Kraft
Katie, based in St. Paul, MN, comes to CARE from The United Methodist Church’s General Board of Church & Society where she led efforts to organize a team of faith-based advocates to build support for international family planning programs in local communities and on Capitol Hill. Prior to her work with The United Methodist Church, she developed communications and advocacy strategies for the Patient Access Network Foundation and the DC Women’s Agenda.

Meet Jonathan Young
Jonathan, based in Seattle, WA, comes to CARE from the ONE Campaign where he led efforts to engage and mobilize advocates in the Northwest part of the country. Prior to joining ONE, he worked for a variety of nonprofits including the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the Experience Music Project.
